Japanese

It is one of the languages of East Asia and is spoken by about 128 million people. It is the official language of Japan, but it is also quite widespread in other countries where immigrants live. It is a language quite widespread in the field of technology and robotics, thanks to the innovation introduced over decades by Japanese companies. At the same time, thanks to the spread of the internet, lately it has become more and more popular, especially among young people, who come into contact with the language through comics, cartoons and songs.
Along with ideograms, known as kanji, Japanese also uses two groups of syllabaries, and in fact they can be represented exclusively by syllables. They use a limited number of phonemes, which makes their pronunciation quite accessible, especially for Greeks. The grammar of the Japanese language is very logically structured, so students usually do not struggle in this area, even though it is very different from anything they are used to in European languages.
Upon completion of the respective courses, with a learning method used worldwide to teach Japanese as a foreign language, AcadeCultural’s Japanese language trainees can participate in the language certification exams conducted by the Japan Foundation in collaboration with Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (Japan Educational Exchanges and Services). In Greece, the exams are held every December in Athens, under the auspices of the Greek-Japanese Association.
